Does anyone know about the battery on a 2008 Macbook?

I’m considering purchasing a Apple Macbook 13″ 2.1Ghz 1GB/120/Combo/APX/OSX.5 from a seller on Ebay but he has no information on the battery or how long it lasts.
And I’m not registered on Ebay yet so I can’t ask the seller questions.
Does anyone know what kind of battery these were made with and how long they last?
And do you know if all 2008 Macbooks come with the same battery?

I do believe they all come with the same battery. However all Lithium Ion batteries have a limited operational life, Most start to lose their charge capacity after about 2 years, and my Dells battery will only hold a charge for about 20 minutes now, down from its original 8 hours. Also the warranty that comes with the laptop DOES NOT cover batteries after a year from the computers original purchase, so if the battery is bad then you would have to purchase a new one from the apple store.
